Gluten-free, maple-sweet, vegan

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews soaked in water 2-4 hours
  • 1 cup raw macadamia nuts soaked in water 1 hour
  • 1 ½ tablespoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Valrhona (or preferred) cocoa powder
  • ¼ + 1 tablespoon maple syrup (less or more to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons solid fat from canned coconut milk
  • 4-8 tablespoons coconut milk

 Instructions

  • Strain nuts, add to high speed blender or food processor, blend for a minute, scrape down sides.
  • Add additional ingredients. Start with 4 T of coconut milk and blend until a very smooth consistency 1-3 minutes. Scrape down sides. If necessary add more milk to preferred texture consistency.
